Samsung’s next Ultra flagship is expected to arrive early next year with the standard, Plus and Pro models. Fresh leaks now point to 5 colour options for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, along with major design changes and a possible 200-megapixel primary camera.
Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra colour options
According to tipster Ice Universe on X, the Galaxy S27 Ultra could launch in 4 standard colours: Black, Blue, Light Pink and White. A separate post from the tipster suggests Samsung is also preparing a special Violet variant, similar to an option available on the previous model.
Light Pink could be a new addition to Samsung’s Ultra lineup and may replace the Cobalt Violet shade offered with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung could also introduce additional colour variants exclusively through its online store.
For comparison, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is available in Black, Cobalt Violet, Pink Gold, Sky Blue, Silver Shadow and White. Pink Gold and Silver Shadow are online-exclusive options.
Galaxy S27 Ultra expected specifications
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is expected to bring a new design compared with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Recent leaks suggest it could feature a raised camera island similar to the design seen on the iPhone 18 Pro models.
The phone is rumoured to have a quad rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP6 primary sensor and a 5x telephoto camera. Samsung could reportedly drop the 3x telephoto sensor from the upcoming Ultra model.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is also tipped to feature a 6.9-inch display and run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset. It could come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The handset is expected to pack a 5,800mAh battery with support for 25W wireless charging. An IP68-rated build is also expected.
Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy S27 Ultra early next year alongside the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27+.
