Samsung’s next flagship smartphone lineup is expected early next year, and a new leak has offered an early look at the Galaxy S27 Pro. The series is expected to include the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra as successors to the Galaxy S26 lineup.
Leaked CAD renders suggest the Galaxy S27 Pro could borrow much of the design language of the Galaxy S27 Ultra. The biggest change appears to be the rear camera layout, with Samsung reportedly moving away from its familiar vertical camera island to a camera plateau similar to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
The renders show 3 rear cameras arranged across the camera bar. The Pro model could also share much of the Ultra’s camera hardware, with the key difference expected in the telephoto system.
The Galaxy S27 Pro is rumoured to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 12-megapixel 3x telephoto sensor. The Galaxy S27 Ultra, meanwhile, is expected to offer a 5x telephoto camera.
The redesigned camera area could create additional space for larger camera sensors and a bigger vapour chamber. It may also help Samsung introduce magnetic charging support.
According to the leaked renders, the Galaxy S27 Pro could essentially be a smaller Galaxy S27 Ultra without the S Pen. It is expected to feature a 6.6-inch display and measure 154.06 x 73.77 x 7.95mm. The phone could have rounded frame edges and slim display bezels.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S27 Pro is rumoured to pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset with up to 16GB of RAM. Samsung could use an Exynos processor in some markets.
Storage options are expected to include 256GB, 512GB and 1TB.
