Fresh CAD renders have offered an early look at the standard Samsung Galaxy S27, suggesting that the upcoming flagship may retain much of the Galaxy S26’s design while bringing slightly slimmer bezels.
The Samsung Galaxy S27 series is expected to launch early next year and could include 4 models: Galaxy S27 Ultra, Galaxy S27 Pro, Galaxy S27+ and Galaxy S27. Details about the lineup have been emerging ahead of its expected launch.
The latest leaked CAD renders of the Galaxy S27 were published in collaboration with tipster Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks). The images show a pill-shaped rear camera module positioned beside the LED flash, similar to the Galaxy S26.
The phone is expected to feature a flat rear panel with a triple-camera setup in the top-left corner. Samsung branding is placed towards the bottom of the rear panel.
The Galaxy S27 could also feature a flat mid-frame, with the power and volume buttons positioned on the right side. Multiple antenna bands are visible around the frame. The bottom edge is shown with a USB Type-C port placed between the speaker grille and microphone.
At the front, the smartphone is expected to have a flat display with a centred hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera and video calls. The screen appears to have relatively thin bezels.
The leaked renders show the phone in a lavender colourway. This could be a new option for the series and may replace the Pink Gold shade offered with the Galaxy S26.
If the renders are accurate, Samsung may reserve the biggest design changes for the Galaxy S27 Ultra, while keeping the standard Galaxy S27 close to its predecessor.
Earlier leaked renders of the Galaxy S27 Ultra indicated a horizontal rectangular rear camera island instead of the pill-shaped design. The Ultra model is also expected to feature a triple rear-camera setup, which would be 1 camera fewer than its predecessor.
