In his expanded role, Sai Prakash will oversee key aspects of Zepto’s last-mile operations strategy, including blue-collar workforce sourcing, fulfillment efficiency and cost optimization initiatives across the company’s growing dark store network.
Prior to this promotion, he served as Senior Manager 2 and Senior Manager 1 – National Sourcing Operations at Zepto. During his tenure, he led national sourcing operations, supported new city launches and managed large-scale workforce acquisition initiatives. He also played a key role in implementing process improvements and product enhancements aimed at optimizing hiring efficiency and operational costs.
Before joining Zepto, Sai Prakash held leadership positions at Delhivery, where he served as Senior Manager – New Supply. In this role, he managed a delivery network spanning more than 200 centers, worked on reducing rider attrition and expanded vendor sourcing channels to support business growth.
Earlier, he was associated with Dunzo as Manager – New Supply, leading supply acquisition operations in Bengaluru and managing a large team focused on workforce expansion and logistics support.
He also served as Partnerships & Dealerships Lead at Uber, where he contributed to partnership development and driver acquisition initiatives.
In addition to his corporate experience, Sai Prakash founded Freshchariot, an agritech delivery startup focused on serving gated communities in Hyderabad. The venture was later partially acquired by Farm Fresh Group.
With nearly a decade of experience across quick commerce, logistics, workforce management and supply chain operations, Sai Prakash Mittapalli brings deep expertise in sourcing strategies, operational efficiency, logistics performance and scalable workforce solutions to his new leadership role at Zepto.
