RP Sanjiv Goenka Group (RPSG Group) has appointed Kavya Sarkar as Deputy General Manager – Business Strategy. The appointment marks her return to Kolkata after several years in management consulting, where she advised leading organizations on business transformation and growth strategy.
In her new role, Kavya will help drive strategic initiatives across the diversified conglomerate as it continues to expand its presence across multiple sectors.
Before joining RPSG Group, Kavya spent nearly 5 years at Bain & Company, where she progressed through roles including Senior Manager, Manager, Consultant and Senior Associate Consultant. During her tenure, she advised clients on business transformation, growth strategy, operational excellence and corporate strategy across multiple industries, helping organizations solve complex business challenges and create long-term value.
Earlier in her career, Kavya worked as an Analyst at EY, where she gained experience in business advisory, consulting and analytical problem-solving. She later earned her MBA from the Indian School of Business (ISB), further strengthening her expertise in strategy and leadership.
Kavya brings strong experience in business strategy, corporate strategy, business transformation, strategic planning, management consulting, business operations, value creation, organizational strategy, cross-functional leadership and data-driven decision-making.
Her consulting background and experience working with leading enterprises position her well to support RPSG Group’s long-term strategic priorities and continued business expansion.
The appointment comes as RP Sanjiv Goenka Group continues to strengthen its leadership team while expanding its presence across high-growth industries in India and international markets.
