In her new role, Anandi Shankar will lead the people function across the region and support Reckitt’s mission of delivering health and hygiene solutions to more than one point eight billion consumers. The company serves households through popular brands such as Dettol, Harpic, Durex, and Vanish.
This appointment marks an important career milestone for Anandi after an accomplished twenty one year journey at Unilever. During her time there, she played a major role in shaping both global and regional human resource strategies.
At Unilever, Anandi held several senior leadership positions. These included Global Head of Learning, Head HR for Beauty and Personal Care and Nutrition, and General Manager HR for Talent, Organization, and Integration. Through these roles, she influenced business and people outcomes across one hundred fifty countries.
She also led the post merger integration for the HUL and GSK Consumer Healthcare merger. Earlier in her career, she worked as Employer Brand Manager, HR Business Partner, and Business Leadership Trainee, building a strong foundation across multiple HR functions.
With deep expertise in talent management, culture building, and organizational transformation, Anandi is expected to bring strong strategic direction to Reckitt’s people agenda across South Asia. Her leadership is set to play a key role in strengthening the company’s workforce and long term growth across the region.
