Expanding its AI-focused fintech ecosystem, Razorpay has launched a new Payment Command Line Interface (CLI) for developers and AI agents. The tool enables developers to manage payment operations directly within coding environments, reducing the need to switch between dashboards and external platforms.
The Payment CLI allows developers and AI builders to issue refunds, manage orders, monitor transactions, and access payment workflows directly from their development setup. The launch is aimed at improving automation, operational efficiency, and workflow speed for businesses building AI-powered applications and digital services.
The move aligns with Razorpay’s broader strategy of developing AI-native payment infrastructure and strengthening its position in agentic commerce and AI-driven financial operations. The company has recently expanded its AI offerings with products such as Agent Studio and Agentic Payments, helping businesses automate payment workflows, subscription recovery, dispute management, and operational processes using AI agents.
Razorpay’s Agent Studio, built on Anthropic’s Claude Agent SDK, enables businesses to deploy AI agents capable of monitoring payments, resolving disputes, recovering failed transactions, and automating financial tasks. The platform also integrates with services including Shopify, WhatsApp, Slack, QuickBooks, and Shiprocket to support connected operational workflows.
The launch of the Payment CLI further reflects the increasing adoption of AI agents across fintech and digital commerce, where businesses are shifting toward automated, conversational, and AI-native payment experiences.
