Rajesh Ranjan has taken on the role of Director and India Lead – Core Government Affairs and Public Policy at Google, bringing extensive experience in public policy, government engagement and the technology sector.
Ranjan has been associated with Google since August 2024, previously serving as India Lead – Core Government Affairs and Public Policy. Before joining Google, he was Director – Corporate Affairs and Public Policy at Microsoft, where he spent over 3 years.
His professional journey also includes more than 8 years at KPMG, where he progressed through roles such as Associate Director, Manager, Assistant Manager and Consultant, leading government-focused programmes and policy initiatives.
Earlier, he held leadership positions at Radials International and PE Consulting Investintoindia Pvt Ltd (PECIPL). He also served as Assistant Audit Officer at the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG).
