Protectt.ai, a platform focused on mobile app cybersecurity and fraud prevention, has announced that it has secured Rs 76 crore in a Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The company intends to utilize the funds to improve its AI-driven mobile app security solutions, accelerate product development, create new AI security offerings, cultivate specialized talent in cybersecurity, and support its expansion efforts in the U.S., Middle East, and APAC regions.
Founded by Manish Mimani and Mohanraj Selvaraj, Protectt.ai specializes in Mobile Threat Defense (MTD) and offers cutting-edge security solutions for mobile apps, devices, and transactions. The startup has introduced the XDR Platform, a mobile application that provides advanced protection against evolving cyber threats, fraud, and malicious attacks, ensuring the safety of mobile businesses and users globally.
The AI-driven platform is designed to adapt to new threats in real-time, delivering proactive and continuous defense throughout the mobile app lifecycle, from development to deployment. Protectt.ai helps organizations maintain strong security in a mobile-centric environment by securing every aspect of mobile app security through intelligent automation. Additionally, it acts as a global compliance hub for mobile app owners, assisting them in meeting regulations set by authorities such as RBI, SEBI, NPCI, and other regulatory agencies.

The startup also states that its solutions are utilized by mobile apps in banking, insurance, non-banking financial companies (NBFC), fintech, stock exchanges, and government sectors.
