As Oppo prepares to introduce its Reno 16 series in China later this month, new certification listings have revealed key details about upcoming models, including the Reno 16 Pro and Reno 16F.
The Oppo Reno 16 Pro has been spotted on the UAE’s TDRA certification website with model number CPH2859, confirming its name and hinting at an upcoming global release. At the same time, the Oppo Reno 16F has appeared on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform with model number CPH2859 and certificate number B38294-26. The listing confirms support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NR networks, indicating 5G connectivity, and notes that the device is manufactured in China.
While these listings do not reveal full specifications, they suggest that both smartphones could launch in international markets, including the UAE, soon after their China debut.
Reports also indicate that the Oppo Reno 16 Pro was listed on the EEC certification platform with notification number RU0000062359. It has reportedly appeared on the TÜV Rheinland database with certification number SG PSB-IV-16450, which points to support for 80W wired charging.
Additionally, both the Reno 16 Pro and Reno 16F 5G were said to be listed on the NBD Import and Export database with model numbers CPH2863 and CPH2859. These listings suggest that both models could be available in a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration.
The same database also hints at a third Reno series device with model number CPH2865. This model is expected to feature a 6.57-inch display and may be offered in a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
Oppo is expected to launch the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro in China in May, with pre-reservations already open. The Reno 16 Pro is rumoured to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It may be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and pack a 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and wireless charging support. The device is also expected to include a 200-megapixel main rear camera with OIS.
