Oppo’s next book-style foldable could bring a major design change, with reports pointing to a wider display, a slimmer body and an upgraded camera system. The upcoming Oppo Find N7 is also tipped to feature a 2nm chipset and a redesigned hinge aimed at reducing the visible crease.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Find N7 could feature a 7.6-inch main display with a seamless hinge design. An engineering sample reportedly uses a Samsung-made display. The phone is also expected to have a lightweight body and slim profile, although its exact dimensions have not been revealed.

Camera specifications

The Find N7 is tipped to feature a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. A 3-megapixel multispectral sensor could complete the rear camera setup.

The phone is also expected to retain Hasselblad’s imaging system, which is available on other models in Oppo’s Find X series.

Earlier reports suggested that Oppo is moving away from the traditional tall form factor towards a wider and shorter design, similar to the older Find N2. The Find N7 is also expected to be the company’s first wide-folding handset. Its rear camera module could receive a redesign, replacing the usual circular layout with a horizontal arrangement.

Expected launch and hardware

An earlier report suggested that the Oppo Find N7 could launch in China in the 1st quarter of 2027. It was also tipped to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset and a 6,500mAh battery. A recent leak separately pointed to a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.

The current-generation Oppo Find N6 features an 8.12-inch main display and a 6.62-inch cover display. Its design combines a taller cover screen with a squarish main display.

The Find N6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
