NSDL Database Management Ltd. (NDML) has appointed Akshay Hartalkar as its Chief Technology Officer, bringing experienced technology leadership to the company’s innovation and digital transformation agenda.
In his new role, Hartalkar will lead the organisation’s technology strategy and innovation initiatives.
He brings over 27 years of experience across technology, digital transformation and enterprise application development. Most recently, he served as Vice President at BSE, where he led the complete redevelopment of the exchange’s flagship mutual fund platform, StAR MF. The platform handles most of India’s mutual fund transactions and was rebuilt using a microservices-based, API-first architecture.
Earlier, Hartalkar served as Chief Product Officer at Recity Network India and Senior Director – Ecommerce at Pharmarack. He also co-founded Orbis Media Technologies and led the company as CEO, building enterprise mobility solutions.
