After its recent launch, the latest mid-range smartphones from Nothing are now available for purchase across India. The new Nothing Phone 4a and Nothing Phone 4a Pro bring upgraded displays, Snapdragon 7 series processors and new Glyph lighting interfaces designed to enhance notifications and interactive features.

Price, offers and availability

The Nothing Phone 4a is priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models are priced at Rs 34,999 and Rs 37,999. The Nothing Phone 4a Pro starts at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants cost Rs 42,999 and Rs 45,999.

The Phone 4a is available in Black, White, Blue and Pink colours. The Phone 4a Pro comes in Black, Silver and Pink finishes.

Both smartphones can be purchased through Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Croma and other retail outlets. As part of introductory offers starting Mar 13, 2026, buyers can get bank discounts of up to Rs 3,000 on the Phone 4a and up to Rs 4,000 on the Phone 4a Pro. Exchange deals and no-cost EMI options are also available through select partners.

Display, processor and software

The Nothing Phone 4a features a 6.78-inch LTPS flexible AMOLED display with 1,224×2,720 resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness. The Phone 4a Pro comes with a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen supporting up to 144Hz refresh rate and 5,000 nits peak brightness.

The standard model runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Pro version uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Both devices offer up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. They run on Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.1 and will receive 3 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates.

Glyph interface and camera system

The Phone 4a introduces a new Glyph Bar with 63 mini-LEDs across 6 zones. It supports features such as generative ringtones, Glyph Timer, Essential Notifications, Volume Indicator, Live Notifications, Camera Countdown and Glyph Torch.

The Phone 4a Pro includes a larger Glyph Matrix with 137 mini-LEDs and up to 3,000 nits brightness. It also supports interactive Glyph Toys that display information like battery level, timer, digital clock, Solar Path and Glyph Mirror.

Both phones feature triple rear cameras. The Phone 4a includes a 50MP Samsung GN9 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with up to 70x Ultra Zoom and an 8MP ultrawide Sony IMX355 camera. The Phone 4a Pro offers a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with up to 140x Ultra Zoom and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both phones include a 32MP front camera and support 4K video at 30fps.

Battery, connectivity and durability

The India variants feature a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wired fast charging. The Phone 4a can charge from 1% to 100% in about 64 minutes. The Pro model also supports 7.5W reverse wired charging.

Connectivity features include dual SIM, 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS and USB Type-C. Security is handled through an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.

The Phone 4a carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, while the Phone 4a Pro has an IP65 rating. The standard model measures 163.95×77.57×8.55mm and weighs 204.5g. The Pro version measures 163.6×76.6×7.9mm and weighs 210g.
