National Australia Bank (NAB) has appointed Payal Jain as Vice President – Talent Acquisition. In her new role, she will lead talent acquisition initiatives, strengthen recruitment capabilities, enhance employer branding, and build high-performing teams to support the bank’s growth strategy across its operations.

Payal brings nearly 19 years of experience in talent acquisition, human resources, employer branding, recruitment transformation, workforce planning and leadership hiring.

Before joining NAB, she spent more than 10 years at Aristocrat, where she held several leadership roles, including Head of Talent Acquisition, Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition, Manager HR and Deputy Manager HR. As Head of Talent Acquisition, she led recruitment across multiple regions and played a key role in expanding the workforce by more than 1,450 employees. She also strengthened employer branding, increased talent engagement, promoted diversity and inclusion initiatives, and introduced AI-powered recruitment processes that improved hiring efficiency, candidate experience and compliance.

Earlier, Payal served as Team Lead – Recruitment at SoftwareONE, where she managed technology hiring, recruitment operations and workforce planning for a fast-growing global technology company. Before that, she spent 6 years at Pitney Bowes, gaining extensive experience in end-to-end talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, stakeholder management, sourcing and recruitment operations across multiple business functions.

She began her HR career at Webtek Labs Pvt. Ltd., where she supported recruitment initiatives for Microsoft GDCI Hyderabad.

With her extensive experience in talent strategy and recruitment leadership, Payal is expected to play a key role in strengthening NAB’s people strategy and attracting top talent as the bank continues to expand its customer-focused banking operations across Australia, New Zealand and global markets.
