N-able bets on India talent with major Bengaluru GCC workforce expansion

Amid rising demand for AI and cybersecurity talent, N-able Inc has expanded its footprint in India with the launch of a new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bengaluru. The US-based cybersecurity company has announced plans to increase its workforce in India by at least 50% by the end of 2026.

The company currently employs more than 100 professionals at its Bengaluru facility. N-able provides IT management, cybersecurity, and data protection solutions to over 500,000 organisations globally and sees India as a key destination for accessing highly skilled technology talent.

Speaking about the expansion, CEO John Pagliuca said the decision is driven by talent requirements rather than cost advantages. The company is focusing on strengthening capabilities in areas such as AI engineering, applied machine learning, cloud security, and threat research, where skilled professionals remain in high demand.

The move comes as competition for AI and cybersecurity experts continues to intensify in Bengaluru, one of India’s leading technology hubs. To attract top talent, N-able is offering competitive compensation packages along with opportunities for local career growth while contributing to global innovation initiatives.

The launch of the Bengaluru GCC also reflects the rapid growth of India’s GCC ecosystem. According to a report by industry body Nasscom and consultancy Zinnov, the country’s GCC workforce is expected to reach 2.36 million employees by 2026.

As cyber threats become more sophisticated with the increasing use of generative AI by attackers, N-able’s India team will play a key role in developing AI-powered defensive technologies. These efforts will focus on areas such as automated threat detection, response mechanisms, and advanced cybersecurity solutions.

The company, however, has not disclosed details regarding its market presence among Indian small and medium-sized businesses or any specific revenue targets for the region.
