Lenovo has expanded its Lecoo tablet lineup in China with the new Lenovo Lecoo P900A, also known as Lenovo Lecoo Mini. The compact tablet features an 8-inch display, a MediaTek processor and a 5,000mAh battery. The company is also preparing to launch the Lenovo Legion Y700 AI in China later this month with upgraded hardware and a larger cooling system.
The Lenovo Lecoo P900A is listed on JD.com at CNY 899, roughly Rs. 12,000, for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It is available in a Platinum Gold colour option.
The tablet’s details were not available on Lenovo’s official website at the time of writing, and the company had not announced the device through its official Weibo account.
The Lenovo Lecoo P900A runs on Lenovo’s ZUXOS software and features an 8-inch HD+ display. It is powered by an unspecified MediaTek processor and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Storage can be expanded by up to 1TB.
For connectivity, the tablet supports 4G and VoLTE. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Cross-device connectivity also allows users to transfer files between Android and iOS devices.
The tablet packs a 5,000mAh battery and measures 200.5 x 122 x 8.45mm. It weighs 324 grams.
Meanwhile, the Lenovo Legion Y700 AI is set to launch in China later this month. It will feature an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate and up to 4,000 nits of local peak brightness. The tablet will measure 6.5mm in thickness and weigh 298g.
The Legion Y700 AI will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version chipset. It will also feature a 15,000 sq mm vapour chamber and Lenovo’s Qiankun thermal management system.
