Laser Securities has appointed Sandiip Kothari as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), strengthening its leadership team with an executive known for driving business transformation, operational excellence, and enterprise security.
Sandiip brings extensive leadership experience across business operations, corporate governance, technology, and information security. In his new role, he will focus on aligning strategic operations, improving business performance, strengthening risk management, and advancing secure digital transformation. His expertise also includes business analytics, quantitative optimisation, AI, data science, and modern cloud architecture, helping organizations build resilience while ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value.
Before joining Laser Securities, Sandiip served as Chief Executive Officer at Shrimuktai Mart. He was initially appointed as Chief Technology Officer to modernize the company’s technology landscape, strengthen operational resilience, and align IT with business priorities before being promoted to CEO.
During his tenure as CEO, he led warehouse modernization that increased throughput by 35%, expanded e-commerce capabilities, reduced vendor costs by 15% through procurement optimization, and drove operational excellence initiatives. His leadership also delivered 6% revenue growth and 9% cost optimization while building a scalable platform for long-term business growth. He worked closely with promoters, investors, and regulators to support governance, enterprise transformation, and strategic direction.
As Chief Technology Officer, Sandiip led enterprise technology, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and operational excellence initiatives.
