Indian sports and fitness brand Boldfit has secured over Rs 400 crore (nearly $42 million) in its Series B funding round, led by Bharat Value Fund, managed by The Wealth Company Alternates, part of the Pantomath Group. Existing investor Bessemer Venture Partners also participated in the round.
Based in Bengaluru, Boldfit had previously raised Rs 110 crore, or around $13 million, in November 2024 in a funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The company also raised $8.37 million from existing investors, including KL Rahul.
The newly raised capital will support the company’s expansion plans, including nationwide retail growth, product innovation, and manufacturing investments. Boldfit also plans to selectively explore acquisitions and other inorganic opportunities to strengthen its presence and capabilities across product categories.
Founded in 2018 by Pallav Bihani and Aasshna Guptaa, Boldfit operates an e-commerce platform offering sports and fitness products across apparel, fitness equipment, nutrition supplements, and accessories. Its portfolio includes products for basketball, cycling, football, volleyball, badminton, and cricket, with more than 400 products across categories.
The company said it serves over 2 crore customers annually. It is also working to strengthen its integrated product development and manufacturing capabilities, with a focus on innovation, quality, and long-term competitiveness.
Boldfit aims to build a sports brand for a billion Indians by expanding product innovation, manufacturing, and nationwide distribution.
The company has not yet filed its FY26 financial results. Its operating revenue increased 2.17 times to Rs 304 crore in FY25, compared with Rs 140 crore in FY24. Profit also grew 2.08 times to Rs 35 crore from Rs 16.82 crore in the previous fiscal year.
Other companies in the sports and fitness sector have also attracted investor interest. In June 2026, sportswear platform Agilitas raised Rs 225 crore from Nexus Venture Partners and Rainmatter, the investment arm of Zerodha, to strengthen its manufacturing, brand-building, retail, and technology capabilities.
In July 2026, PlayBlue secured $2.7 million in seed funding from Centre Court Capital, MIXI Global, and WEH Ventures. The funding will support the launch of its omnichannel sports retail business, including a pan-India e-commerce platform and flagship stores.
