Jacqueline Poh Appointed CEO of JTC Corporation

JTC Corporation has announced the appointment of Jacqueline Poh, the managing director of the Economic Development Board (EDB), as its new CEO, effective April 1, 2025. Poh will also join the JTC Board in an ex-officio capacity. She will succeed Tan Boon Khai, who is stepping down from his role as CEO on March 31, 2025, to pursue other opportunities.

Poh has been with EDB since October 4, 2021, and during her tenure, she led the organization through a period of significant success, securing strong investment commitments as Singapore’s economy bounced back from the COVID-19 pandemic. Under her leadership, EDB achieved record investment commitments in 2022, surpassing its targets. Prior to her role at EDB, Poh served as deputy secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office strategy group and held key positions at the Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Defence. She was also the founding CEO of Singapore’s government technology agency (GovTech) and the managing director of the former Infocommunications Development Authority (IMDA).

Commenting on her new role, Poh expressed enthusiasm about her upcoming challenges and opportunities at JTC Corporation, bringing her vast leadership experience to further strengthen the organization.
