Strengthening its global leadership team, Jacobs has appointed Cheryl Lim as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The appointment comes as the company continues advancing its global growth, workforce transformation, and people strategy initiatives across international markets.
In her new role, Lim will lead Jacobs’ global people strategy with a focus on talent development, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce transformation, and culture building. She brings extensive HR leadership experience across technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, industrial systems, enterprise transformation, and data center industries.
Before joining Jacobs, Lim served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Vertiv, where she led the people strategy for a $9 billion global business with nearly 28,000 employees. During her tenure, she advised the CEO and executive leadership team while leading HR transformation, talent acquisition, performance management, global job architecture initiatives, and enterprise-wide cultural transformation programs.
Prior to Vertiv, she worked as Vice President Human Resources at ITT Inc., supporting the Connect & Control Technologies business. In this role, she partnered with senior leadership on business transformation, workforce planning, talent investment, change management, and HR operating model redesign.
Earlier, Lim spent more than 20 years with Honeywell, where she held several senior global HR leadership positions across enterprise transformation, integrated supply chain, corporate HR, staffing, EMEA operations, and high-growth regions. Her work included organizational design, leadership development, succession planning, labor relations, talent management, and implementation of digital and AI-enabled talent solutions.
With more than 20 years of global HR leadership experience across multinational organizations, Lim brings strong expertise in leadership development, culture transformation, workforce planning, organizational performance, and talent systems to Jacobs.
