Expanding its gaming smartphone lineup, Infinix has introduced the Infinix GT 50 Pro in select global markets. The device arrives as a successor to the GT 30 Pro and brings upgraded performance, display, and gaming-focused features.
The smartphone is powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset, paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. It runs on Android 16-based XOS 16.
The GT 50 Pro features a 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPS 1.5K display with a resolution of 1,208×2,644 pixels and a 93.18% screen-to-body ratio. It supports refresh rates from 30Hz to 144Hz, up to 330Hz touch sampling, and 2800Hz instant touch sampling. The display offers 4500 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, TÜV Low Blue Light certification, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
For photography, the phone includes a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, it has a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.
A key highlight is its gaming capability. The device comes with pressure-sensitive shoulder triggers featuring 10 pressure levels and up to 4 mapping points per trigger. These triggers support quick app launches, video controls, and lighting customisation, offering a console-like experience.
The phone also introduces HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture, which uses micro-pump liquid cooling with a 6,437 sq mm diaphragm area for improved heat management. It also features an in-house N1 network chip for better connectivity.
The GT 50 Pro packs a 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging, 30W wireless charging, 10W reverse wired charging, and 5W wireless reverse charging. It also supports wireless bypass charging with the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, FM radio, OTG, and USB Type-C. The device has an IP64 rating and includes sensors like a gyroscope, e-compass, and in-display fingerprint scanner.
Priced at IDR 69,98,000 (around ₹35,000) for the 256GB variant and IDR 74,99,000 (around ₹40,000) for the 512GB version, it is available in Black Abyss, Red Blaze, and Silver Glacier.
