Magu brings extensive experience across global technology, policy, and communications leadership. Her expertise spans corporate communications, public affairs, policy advocacy, innovation storytelling, crisis management, and strategic brand positioning.
Before joining Google, she served as Director Communications – Policy & Innovation (India) at Meta, where she led communication initiatives focused on policy and innovation-related narratives.
Over the years, Magu has held several leadership positions across leading global organisations. At HMD, she worked as Global Head of Communications and Communications Head, India. She also spent significant years at Microsoft India, serving as Sr. Communications Manager and Communications Manager.
Earlier in her career, Magu worked at Nokia as Communications Manager, at 20:20 MEDIA as Account Director, and at Perfect Relations in roles including Strategy Consultant and Branch Head.
Her professional journey reflects strong experience in building communication strategies, managing corporate reputation, and leading brand narratives for some of the world’s most recognised technology companies and organisations.
