Ankit Jain, former Managing Director of Dyson India, has launched Foundry, a consumer technology company focused on developing premium home appliances. The company is building products powered by proprietary, patent-pending technology, with its initial focus on kitchen appliances.

Foundry has raised ₹12 crore in a pre-seed funding round co-led by BEENEXT and Kettleborough VC. The round also received participation from Rishubh Satiya of Plix, Anindita Sampath of Yoga Bar, and Anita Pramoda of Owned Outcomes.

According to a company press release, the funds will support technology development and product engineering as Foundry prepares to launch its first range of kitchen appliances in the second half of 2027.

The company aims to combine proprietary technology with industrial design and materials suited to modern homes. Beyond its initial kitchen appliance range, Foundry plans to expand into additional product categories.
