In her new role, Hinshelwood will lead the global finance function, enhance governance frameworks, and support the company’s value creation strategy.
Hinshelwood brings over 30 years of global finance leadership experience across healthcare, chemicals, manufacturing, and building materials. She most recently served as Group CFO at BMI Group, where she led a strategic turnaround. Her work included strengthening liquidity, improving operating margins, and rebuilding finance and governance structures to drive business resilience.
Before that, she held the position of Global Head of Finance Operations at Novartis. In this role, she managed end-to-end finance operations across multiple geographies. She also led transformation initiatives, strengthened governance and compliance systems, and oversaw large-scale financial reporting and systems programs.
Hinshelwood also spent nearly 15 years at Syngenta, taking on several senior leadership roles across Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe, and Latin America. As Head of Finance Asia Pacific, she contributed to enterprise strategy, capital markets activities, investor relations, and large-scale regional transformation programs.
Earlier in her career, she built strong operational finance expertise at Hillshire Brands, forming the foundation of her global leadership journey.
With extensive international experience and a strong track record in transformation, governance, and capital discipline, Hinshelwood steps into the CFO role at a critical time for Evotec. She is well positioned to guide the company through its next phase of operational execution and growth.
