Dell unveils new Dell 15-inch laptop in India with upgraded performance and features

Expanding its laptop lineup in India, Dell has introduced the new Dell 15, offering a range of configurations and features aimed at everyday and performance users.

The laptop was launched on Monday and will be available through the company’s online store, authorised offline outlets, and multi-brand retail stores. It comes in Carbon Black and Platinum Silver colour options, along with 2 RAM and 2 storage configurations.

The starting price of the Dell 15 in India is Rs. 69,699 for the base variant, which includes an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, 8GB RAM, and 512GB storage. Pricing for other variants has not yet been disclosed. The company is also offering cashback of up to Rs. 5,000 on select bank credit card EMI transactions, along with up to 12 months of interest-free EMI options on credit cards from all banks and select debit cards.

In terms of performance, the laptop is available with Intel Core Ultra 7 255H and Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processors. The higher-end variant features a 16-core CPU with a base clock speed of 2.0GHz and a peak speed of 5.1GHz. Both configurations include integrated Intel Arc Graphics.

The Dell 15 supports up to 16GB DDR5 single-channel RAM and up to 1TB SSD storage. It features a 15.6-inch Full-HD display with 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, 45% NTSC colour gamut, and anti-glare coating.

Additional features include a full-size “spill-resistant” keyboard with a numeric keypad and optional backlight, a multitouch touchpad, and Windows 11 Home. The device has a plastic chassis, dual speakers, and a “widescreen” 720p webcam with a microphone.

It is powered by a 3-cell 41Wh battery with 65W fast charging support. Connectivity options include USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, USB 2.0 Type-A, HDMI 1.4, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.

The laptop measures 358.50×235.56×16.96mm and weighs around 1.66kg. It also offers an optional fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello support for added security.
