Honeywell Technologies has promoted Deepti Verma Vij to Senior Director HR for India, ASEAN & East Asia, expanding her leadership responsibilities across the company’s Building Automation business. 

In her new role, she will lead the people strategy across India, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with a focus on succession planning, leadership development, organizational capability, and building a future-ready workforce.

The promotion reflects Honeywell’s continued investment in strengthening its regional people strategy while aligning talent priorities with business growth across key Asian markets.

With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, organizational transformation, and leadership development, Deepti has built a strong track record of partnering with business leaders to drive sustainable growth through people-focused strategies.

Before her promotion, Deepti served as Regional Head – Talent Acquisition at Honeywell, where she led end-to-end talent acquisition across 13 countries, supporting businesses including Aerospace, Building Automation, Process Automation, Productivity Solutions, and Corporate functions. During her tenure, she strengthened business partnerships, reorganized multicultural teams, improved executive hiring, introduced cost efficiencies, and led diversity initiatives such as Restart Her and Lead Hers. She also revitalized campus hiring and employer branding programs.

Earlier, as Director – Talent Acquisition, she transformed recruitment operations, enhanced stakeholder experience, and successfully managed large-scale hiring during and after the pandemic.

Before joining Honeywell, Deepti spent 7 years at EY, where she served as Associate Director – HR and Assistant Director – Talent, leading people and culture strategy for the Strategy & Transactions business across India and Poland. She played a key role in organizational effectiveness, M&A integration, leadership development, employer branding, and business transformation initiatives.

Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at Bank of America, Bright Point India Pvt. Ltd., and Saffron, gaining extensive experience in talent management, organizational development, recruitment, and change management.

Deepti holds an MBA in Human Resources and a Bachelor of Science from Hindu College, University of Delhi. Her extensive experience in regional HR leadership, talent strategy, and organizational transformation positions her well to lead Honeywell’s people agenda across one of its most strategic growth regions.
