Dr Naresh Kumar Puritipati has joined Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation Limited (DFPCL) as President Human Resources, bringing more than 30 years of experience across HR leadership, organisational development, talent management, employee engagement, manufacturing HR and business transformation.
Before joining DFPCL, Dr. Puritipati served as Human Resources Director at Lactalis India for more than 6 years, from May 2020 to June 2026. Earlier, he was Chief Human Resources Officer at Spencer’s Retail, where he focused on attracting, developing, retaining and engaging talent to support business performance.
A major part of his career was spent within the Coca-Cola system. At Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), he held several senior roles, including Head of HR – Integrated Supply Chain, Associate Vice President HR – South India, and National Head – Organization Development & Cadre Building.
His responsibilities covered manufacturing, logistics, sales and commercial operations, talent development, employee engagement, succession planning, diversity, performance management, career management and HR analytics.
He also served as Human Resources Director and Country Head-HR at The Coca-Cola Company in Myanmar and took on a short-term HR leadership assignment with Coca-Cola Bottlers Malaysia.
Earlier, Dr. Puritipati spent nearly 12 years with HCCB, moving through progressively senior positions from Factory HR Manager to Cluster Manager and Zonal Head – Human Resources.
He began his career with Avanti Kopp Electricals Limited and later worked with Heritage Foods as Senior Executive – HR & Admin, building experience in personnel management, administration and industrial HR.
Dr. Puritipati holds a PhD in Human Resources Management from Andhra University, where he also completed his Master’s in Human Resource Management.
In his new role at DFPCL, his experience across consumer businesses, manufacturing, supply chains and organisational transformation is expected to support the company’s people and organisational priorities.
