In his new role, Brenton will lead Cornerstone’s business growth across APJ, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and expand the company’s presence in key regional markets.
Smith brings extensive leadership experience across the technology sector, with a strong background in scaling software businesses, driving regional growth, and leading high-performing teams across Asia Pacific.
He joins Cornerstone after spending 7 years at BMC Software, where he led the company’s APJ business operations from Australia and Singapore while supporting customers across ASEAN and the wider Asia Pacific region.
Known for his focus on AI innovation, Smith has worked closely with organisations on integrating large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and agentic AI into enterprise environments.
