Cohance Lifesciences has appointed Krishna Sai T as its Chief Information Officer (CIO), bringing more than three decades of technology leadership experience to the pharmaceutical and life sciences company.
Krishna Sai joins Cohance with over 30 years of professional experience, including more than 25 years across the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector. His expertise spans digital transformation, enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity and technology governance, positioning him to lead the company’s technology agenda as it continues to expand its digital capabilities.
In his new role, Krishna Sai will be responsible for strengthening Cohance Lifesciences’ technology strategy and supporting its broader digital transformation initiatives. The company said his leadership is expected to contribute to innovation, operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
Krishna Sai has held technology leadership positions across prominent organisations in the pharmaceutical and life sciences ecosystem. Prior to joining Cohance Lifesciences, he was associated with Matrix Pharma Corp, where he served as Chief Information Officer. He has also worked with Biocon and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, building experience at the intersection of enterprise technology, business operations and life sciences.
His career has included leading large-scale technology modernisation and enterprise transformation programmes, with a focus on aligning technology capabilities with business priorities.
Krishna Sai also holds an SMP MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, complementing his extensive technology experience with a formal business leadership background.
His appointment comes at a time when technology is becoming increasingly central to the pharmaceutical industry, with organisations investing in digital platforms, data, cybersecurity, automation and AI to improve operational efficiency and accelerate innovation.
For Cohance Lifesciences, Krishna Sai’s appointment is expected to further strengthen the company’s technology leadership as it advances its digital transformation agenda and builds technology capabilities aligned with its growth objectives.
