CMF is preparing to expand its wireless audio range in India with the Buds Neo, which will be officially unveiled later this month. The company has confirmed the launch date and shared an early look at the earbuds, while the price and specifications are still under wraps.
CMF Buds Neo design and launch details
CMF Buds Neo will launch in India on August 20 at 12pm IST. The brand is positioning the earbuds as its most affordable product in its ecosystem.
The teaser image shows the earbuds with white stems and orange ear tips. A video shared by CMF also highlights a circular element on the side of the charging case. This could be a physical control dial similar to the Smart Dial found on the CMF Buds Pro 2. If confirmed, it could be used for functions such as volume control, playback and noise control.
The circular element is shown in orange, cyan and black, hinting at possible colour options for the Buds Neo.
The earbuds have already appeared on certification platforms in India and Indonesia. They were listed on Indonesia’s SDPPI database with model number B190 and certification number 122343/DJID/2026. In India, the Buds Neo received BIS certification earlier this year under registration number R-93047031.
The Indian certification listing named Optiemus Electronics Limited as the manufacturer and pointed to a facility in Noida, suggesting that the earbuds could be manufactured in India.
However, the certification records did not reveal details about the earbuds’ specifications or pricing. Earlier reports suggested that the Buds Neo could be positioned as a lower-cost CMF audio product, but the company has not yet confirmed its price.
