Canva is stepping up its focus on productivity with a broad set of updates across its Visual Suite. Announced on Thursday, September 3, the latest rollout marks the company’s 100th Visual Suite feature launch of 2026, covering Docs, Presentations, Sheets, Whiteboards and Websites.
The company also shared new usage figures, revealing that more than 100 million people now use Canva Presentations every month. Around 3,000 presentations are created every minute on the platform, while more than 1 billion designs are created each month.
More than half of Visual Suite users work on mobile devices. India leads mobile Visual Suite usage across South Asia, with over 70% of users creating content on their phones.
“We’re incredibly proud to see Canva becoming one of the most widely used productivity suites in the world, as people bring more of their everyday work into Canva. Today marks our 100th new feature launch this year alone, a pace of nearly one Visual Suite upgrade every other day. As we often say, we still feel like we’re only 1 per cent of the way there, and we’re just getting started,” said Cameron Adams, Canva Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer.
What’s new across Visual Suite
Canva Docs now offers richer layouts and professional formatting controls. It supports edge-to-edge visuals, automatic page breaks and expanded styles that can turn working documents into presentation-ready files.
“By meeting users where they already work, we’ve empowered hundreds of marketers to create everything from ePublications and social ads to event promotions. Our small design team can now focus on building and evolving the system, not designing every pixel. Canva is foundational to how we scale design across Docusign worldwide,” said Corey Pomkoski, Senior Director, Brand and Creative Operations at Docusign.
Sheets has received new project tracking, formatting and customisation tools. Its AI features can analyse data and create polished charts and tables. Public filters, column hiding and row grouping provide greater control.
Whiteboards now offer faster navigation and collaboration, including streamlined panning, mobile pasting and Follow Collaborators. Teams can move directly to where another person is working and use 1-click reactions. Whiteboards can also be converted into presentations or documents with 1 click.
Presentations now include an estimated presenting timer, 1-click presenting and automatically generated presenter notes with ready-to-use talking points.
Websites, which see more than 1 million published each month, now support up to 20 sections, along with improved navigation, SEO, domain controls and expanded buttons. Canva Code has created more than 6 million coded websites to date.
