Amy Ninham Appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Mille Lacs Health System

Mille Lacs Health System (MLHS) has announced the appointment of Amy Ninham as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective March 10th. After an extensive search that included both internal and external candidates, Ninham, who has dedicated nearly 12 years to the organization, has officially stepped into this significant leadership role.

With almost two decades of experience in healthcare, Ninham’s deep expertise in financial operations at MLHS has made her the ideal candidate for this pivotal position. Previously serving as the Director of Revenue Cycle, she played an integral role in the financial health of the organization, specializing in billing, payer contracts, strategic financial planning, and revenue cycle management. Her comprehensive background in these areas distinguished her as an exceptional fit to lead MLHS’s financial strategy.

Beyond her financial responsibilities, Ninham has also served as MLHS’s HIPAA Security Officer, where she ensured the organization adhered to strict privacy regulations. In her expanded role, she will now also take on the position of Compliance Officer, overseeing regulatory adherence and safeguarding the organization’s commitment to the highest standards in the healthcare industry.

Amy’s promotion marks a new chapter for MLHS as it continues to focus on both financial sustainability and regulatory compliance. Her extensive experience and leadership skills will be invaluable as the health system navigates the challenges of today’s dynamic healthcare landscape.
