Accenture has strengthened its presence in India by signing a long-term office lease in Pune, reinforcing its commitment to the country’s growing technology and innovation ecosystem. The expansion reflects the company’s continued focus on consolidating operations and investing in premium workspaces across key technology hubs.
The company has leased around 3.45 lakh sq. ft. of office space across 5 floors at Phoenix Millennium Towers in Wakad, Pune, through 2 separate lease agreements. The 10-year lease carries a total rental commitment of approximately ₹355.4 crore, with a combined monthly rent of ₹2.52 crore at ₹73 per sq. ft. The agreements also include a 15% rent escalation every 3 years and a total security deposit of ₹10.09 crore.
The latest lease is part of Accenture’s broader strategy to bring more employees together in modern Grade-A office spaces while expanding its delivery and innovation capabilities in India. The investment also reflects the growing demand from multinational companies for high-quality commercial office spaces in leading technology cities.
The Pune expansion comes soon after Accenture’s large office leasing activity in Hyderabad, highlighting the company’s continued investment in India as a strategic hub for technology, engineering, and global business operations. The move further strengthens Pune’s position as one of India’s fast-growing destinations for technology companies and Global Capability Centres (GCCs).
The long-term investment underscores Accenture’s confidence in India’s talent ecosystem and commercial real estate market while supporting its future growth and operational expansion across the country.
