Vivo has announced on X that it will launch its new flagship Vivo X300 series smartphones in India on 2 December. The series includes the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro. Both models feature cameras co engineered with the German optics company Zeiss. Vivo also confirmed that the Vivo X300 Series Photographer Kit will make its India debut at the same event.
The company has shared several key details ahead of the launch. These include information on the chipset, camera upgrades, design elements and software. Both the Vivo X300 and the Vivo X300 Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. They will also feature the Vivo V3 plus imaging chip to improve camera performance. The Vivo X300 will include a 6.31 inch display with slim bezels measuring 1.05 millimetres. Vivo has not yet revealed the display details for the Pro model.
The Vivo X300 Pro will offer a triple rear camera setup. It includes a fifty megapixel Zeiss gimbal grade main camera, a fifty megapixel Zeiss ultra wide camera and a two hundred megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto lens. The Vivo X300 will also feature three rear cameras. It will include a two hundred megapixel Zeiss main camera, a fifty megapixel Zeiss ultra wide lens and a fifty megapixel Zeiss APO telephoto camera.
Both models will offer a fifty megapixel Zeiss wide angle front camera. Vivo has also confirmed the X300 Series Photography Kit for India. It will include a two point three five times telephoto extender that works with both phones.
Both the Vivo X300 Pro and the Vivo X300 will run the Android sixteen based OriginOS six interface. Vivo has not yet confirmed the India battery specifications. They may, however, match the battery details of the Chinese models. In China, the Vivo X300 Pro has a six thousand five hundred and ten milliampere hour battery with support for ninety watt flash charging and forty watt wireless charging. The Vivo X300 includes a six thousand and forty milliampere hour battery with the same charging support.
Expected specifications of the Vivo X300 Pro include a six point seven eight inch AMOLED display with a resolution of two thousand eight hundred by one thousand two hundred and sixty and a refresh rate of one hundred and twenty hertz. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. It offers up to sixteen gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM and up to one terabyte of storage. It includes rear cameras of fifty megapixels, fifty megapixels and two hundred megapixels. The phone includes a fifty megapixel front camera. It has a six thousand five hundred and ten milliampere hour battery with ninety watt flash charging and forty watt wireless charging.
