A new chapter has begun for Pankaj Bajaj as he steps into the role of Chief Information Officer at Dr Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah. He shared that he is excited to join the organisation and contribute his healthcare technology experience, adding that he looks forward to working with a strong team of leaders, mentors and colleagues while managing IT operations and projects at the Jeddah facility.
Bajaj began this position in November 2025. Before this role, he served as Director of Information Technology at King’s College Hospital London in Jeddah from March 2023 to October 2025. Prior to that, he was Head of Information Technology at Capital Health in Abu Dhabi, where he worked from August 2020 to March 2023.
He brings more than nineteen years of experience across healthcare, financial services and the telecom sector. During his tenure at Capital Health Group, Bajaj led key programs including adoption initiatives, digital transformation, business intelligence, revenue visibility, patient experience, patient engagement and regulatory projects. He also managed hospital operations and several strategic assignments.
Bajaj is known for shaping long term technology strategies by implementing major systems such as EMR, ERP and smart hospital solutions including Trak Care and Oracle Cloud Fusion. His work has improved processes, enhanced adoption, strengthened quality and enabled the creation of technology platforms that focus on return on investment, scalability, reliability and information security.
His expertise includes building shared services models across different business units while meeting service level agreements. He has directed enterprise wide deployment of centralised hospital information systems, CRM platforms, business intelligence solutions, ERP systems and cloud based technologies.
He has aligned technology with organisational needs and led several major transformation projects. His background includes managing annual operating plans for shared service IT across business lines and enabling initiatives related to shared infrastructure, centralised EMR, ERP, BI, CRM and digital healthcare.
Bajaj has a strong track record of connecting business goals with people, processes and technology. He has worked closely with executive teams and managed service, change and problem management functions. He has resolved complex technical issues, overseen root cause analysis and ensured smooth operational delivery.
Bajaj has also designed customer focused solutions in complex technology environments. His experience includes infrastructure planning, IT architecture assessments, preparing requests for proposal, evaluating vendors, developing governance models and ensuring compliance across several hospital locations.
