Kirandeep Chakrabarti has been appointed as the Chief People Officer at WAISL Limited. In this leadership role, she will be responsible for advancing the company’s people strategy, driving organizational transformation, and building a future-ready workforce to support WAISL’s ambitious digital transformation journey.
Before joining WAISL, Chakrabarti served as Head of Human Resources, IKC at a leading airline, where she led strategic HR initiatives for more than two years. She played a key role in organizational scaling, workforce planning, and employee engagement. She also contributed to employer branding and implemented diversity and inclusion strategies that strengthened talent attraction and retention.
Prior to that, she was Associate Director, HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Lead for North and East India at a global real estate services firm. In this position, she provided strong HR business partnership, led talent acquisition and succession planning, and focused on employee engagement. She also championed women’s leadership networks and diversity and inclusion programs across the organization.
Chakrabarti spent over ten years at a leading technology company, where she held senior HR leadership positions including HR Partner, Workforce Restructuring Centre of Excellence, and Deputy General Manager, HR Partner. Her work included developing high-potential programs, workforce restructuring, succession planning, and HR process transformation. She built frameworks that aligned HR initiatives with business goals and long-term organizational sustainability.
Earlier in her career, she held key roles at a global electronics company in HR planning, implementing international HR standards and policies. She also worked at a major IT services company across business unit HR functions, leading initiatives such as 360-degree feedback systems and campus recruitment strategies. Over more than twenty years, Chakrabarti has developed a strong foundation in human resources through progressive experience in global organizations.
Her appointment as Chief People Officer at WAISL Limited marks a significant step in strengthening the company’s focus on its people and organizational growth.
