Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Damini Chaudhari as Vice President of Services for Greater India. In this role, she will oversee the Services business across the region, with a strong focus on strategic growth, customer transformation, and operational excellence. She succeeds Ramesh Jha, who has moved into a global role as Senior Vice President of Global Services Strategy and Operations within the company.
With more than 18 years of international experience in strategy, mergers and acquisitions, sales excellence, and corporate social responsibility, Damini brings a wealth of expertise from her career at both Schneider Electric and Citigroup. At Citigroup, she managed complex transactions, partnerships, and business transformations, further strengthening her leadership profile.
Since joining Schneider Electric in 2016 as M&A Director, Damini has held several senior positions, including Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Head of GREENext, a joint venture between Schneider Electric and Temasek. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Strategy and M&A, Innovation and Start-ups, Greater India, where she played a key role in building alliances, driving innovation, and accelerating growth.
Her appointment highlights Schneider Electric’s focus on creating a future-ready services organisation, with sustainability, digital transformation, and customer value creation at its core. Damini’s global perspective and leadership experience are expected to play a vital role in shaping the company’s services transformation journey in Greater India.
