Sindhu Gangadharan Steps Into a New Role as President of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce

Sindhu Gangadharan has been appointed as the new President of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC). She currently serves as Managing Director of SAP Labs India and Head of Customer Innovation Services at SAP, where she has played a key role in building SAP’s largest research and development hub outside Germany and driving customer-focused innovation.

With more than 26 years of global experience across India and Germany, Sindhu has established herself as a leader in technology and innovation. She also became the first woman to lead SAP Labs India, making her a pioneer in the industry.

Alongside her role at SAP, Sindhu holds several leadership positions. She is Chairperson at a leading industry association, Independent Director at Siemens and Titan Company Limited, and has been part of the Executive Council of the industry body for many years. She has also served on the Board of Directors at Qualtrics and as an Advisory Board member for ReLoop by SAP.

Her association with the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce dates back to 2019 when she joined as a Director. Her new role as President reflects IGCC’s focus on strengthening Indo-German business ties through inclusive and future-ready leadership.
