Vodafone Idea Launches Vi Finance Platform for Personal Financial Services

Vodafone Idea has introduced a new digital financial services platform called Vi Finance on its Vi App. The initiative is in collaboration with Aditya Birla Capital, Upswing Financial Technologies, and Credilio. Through this platform, users will now have access to personal loans, fixed deposits, and credit cards, all within the Vi App.

“By making financial solutions easy, quick, and accessible within the Vi App with Vi Finance, we are enabling customers to take control of their finances without the usual complexities. Our partnerships with trusted financial institutions ensure that every customer can find the right product for their needs,” said Avneesh Khosla, Chief Marketing Officer at Vodafone Idea.

In partnership with Aditya Birla Capital, Vi Finance will offer personal loans starting from ₹50,000 with interest rates beginning at 10.99 percent per annum. The application process is completely digital, paperless, and requires minimal documentation, making it ideal for customers with urgent financial needs.

Along with Upswing, Vi Finance will also provide a marketplace for fixed deposits from multiple leading banks and financial institutions. Customers can begin investing with as little as ₹1,000 and earn interest of up to 8.4 percent. These deposits are insured up to ₹5 lakh per bank under the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation, which is a subsidiary of the Reserve Bank of India.

In collaboration with Credilio, Vi Finance will allow users to browse and apply for credit cards from top banks like SBI, Axis Bank, and HDFC. The platform also includes FD-backed credit cards designed for first-time users or those with limited credit history. These cards come with benefits such as cashback, discounts, reward points, and EMI options, all without the usual paperwork or complexity.
