Kaynes Technology, a leading Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) company in India, is set to establish a new manufacturing unit in Kerala. The state government has officially allotted land for the facility within the Perumbavoor Industrial Park, developed by the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA).
This significant expansion follows constructive discussions between Kaynes Technology leaders and State Industries Minister P. Rajeeve, who formally approved the land allocation. As part of the initiative, Kaynes Technology has committed to a substantial investment of ₹500 crore and is projected to create over 2,000 employment opportunities within the state.
This commitment was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the Industries Department during the Invest Kerala Global Investors’ Summit.
The new unit will initially focus on critical research and development activities, with its first phase anticipated to become operational within 18 months of the land transfer. This strategic move by Kaynes Technology is expected to serve as a catalyst, attracting further electronics industries and fostering the growth of Kerala’s high-tech manufacturing sector.
