LevelBlue, a provider of cloud-based managed security services, has announced its strategic acquisition of Aon’s cybersecurity and intellectual property (IP) litigation consulting groups, a move anticipated to significantly enhance LevelBlue’s expertise in cyber and high-tech IP litigation consulting, as well as incident response.The acquisition notably includes cybersecurity firm Stroz Friedberg and Elysium Digital, a group renowned for its work in technology-related IP litigation. Aon’s consulting group brings a robust portfolio of risk management services, encompassing crucial areas such as adversary simulation, penetration testing, and digital forensics.
Robert McCullen, CEO of LevelBlue, emphasized the transformative nature of this integration. He stated “By combining LevelBlue’s exceptional cloud-based, AI-driven managed detection and response platform with Stroz Friedberg’s proactive cyber consulting and advanced digital forensic and incident response capabilities, we are introducing the industry’s most comprehensive unified cybersecurity services platform.
“This platform will not only strengthen clients’ defences pre-emptively but also empower them with deeper insights and faster incident resolution.”
This expansion will also add approximately 300 skilled technology professionals to LevelBlue’s existing team, seamlessly complementing its established 24/7 managed detection and response services.
