HCLTech Expands Footprint in Kerala with New Delivery Centre at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram

HCLTech, one of India’s leading IT services companies, has inaugurated its second delivery centre in Kerala, this time at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. The new facility, launched just seven months after the opening of its first centre at Infopark, Kochi, signifies HCLTech’s rapid expansion and deepening investment in the state’s growing tech ecosystem

Located within the Technopark campus, the newly launched centre will focus on cutting-edge projects in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI (GenAI), cloud computing, and other emerging technologies . This move further enhances HCLTech’s delivery capabilities in high-demand digital domains, reinforcing its position as a leader in next-gen solutions for global clients
The Kochi centre, which became operational in October 2024, specializes in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) technologies and provides tech solutions to key sectors including healthcare, automotive, and semiconductors
Strengthening Kerala’s Position as a Technology Hub
Speaking about the development, Kerala’s Industries Minister P. Rajeeve lauded the quick expansion of HCLTech in the state. In a social media post, he recalled the optimism shared during the Kochi centre’s inauguration and expressed confidence in Kerala’s potential to attract more investments in advanced technology.

“Just a day after launching their Kochi unit, HCLTech conveyed interest in starting another unit in Kerala. Seven months later, that promise has materialized. Their quick expansion is a testament to the trust companies are placing in Kerala’s talent and infrastructure,” said Mr. Rajeeve.

He added that Kerala’s excellent human resource base and IT infrastructure continue to be major drivers for companies looking to scale their operations in the state
