With a clear vision to drive human potential and align talent strategies with evolving business goals, Surender now leads strategic learning, development, and capability-building initiatives across the company’s sales, resort, and corporate functions.
A seasoned professional with extensive global exposure, Surender brings with him a rich legacy of experience from top-tier organisations. Before this appointment, he spent close to seven transformative years at Jio, where he helmed Talent, Learning, and Organisational Effectiveness for the FTTH business vertical. His leadership was pivotal in strengthening employee engagement, learning culture, and organisational effectiveness across one of India’s most fast-paced telecom ecosystems.
Earlier, he contributed his expertise as Chief Mentor and HR Consultant at Goalcast, where he offered L&D, HR advisory, and OD consulting services to small and mid-sized enterprises across India, the Gulf region, and the United States.
Surender’s impact extended further during his tenure at the Landmark Group, where he spearheaded talent and organisational strategy across MENA nations, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, and Egypt. There, he led several enterprise-wide programs aimed at enhancing leadership capacity, performance, and workplace culture for the group’s Lifestyle formats.
His professional journey also includes critical leadership roles in major organisations such as BESTSELLER and a leading national publication, where he guided learning and talent initiatives across business verticals. At Future Group India, Surender led strategic learning programs for retail giants like Central and Big Bazaar. He began his corporate HR path with Kotak Life, managing talent and learning frameworks in the retail banking domain.
With his deep industry insights and passion for organisational growth, Surender is set to shape a progressive learning culture at Mahindra Holidays that fosters innovation, leadership, and continuous transformation.
