After an illustrious journey of 11 years, Naveen Kukreja, Founder and CEO of Paisabazaar.com, has officially stepped down from his role. Kukreja took to LinkedIn to share this significant career move, marking the end of a remarkable chapter and the beginning of an exciting new one.
“After 11 years of building and scaling Paisabazaar, I have decided to move on from the PB Fintech Group. With a deep sense of gratitude, I bid adieu to my colleagues, partners, investors, and well-wishers, and thank them for their trust and belief in me and the Paisabazaar team over the years. Building platform from scratch to reaching 50 million+ consumers, has been an incredible experience,” Kukreja wrote in his heartfelt post.
Reflecting on his next steps, he shared, “As I move on, I’m very excited about the new chapter alongside Gaurav and Sahil. I have known both of them for over a decade now, and we are together very excited about the potential of fintech in the next 15 years and how we could use our collective strengths to build something that can make a positive difference to consumers’ lives and financial choices.”
Kukreja revealed that he would now be venturing into a new fintech startup, joining hands with trusted partners to tap into the immense possibilities that lie ahead. He emphasized, “The foundation we have today—technology, digital and financial infrastructure, ever improving consumer awareness and increasingly importantly the role that AI is going to play in driving innovation and effectiveness—makes this as one of the best times to build something for the long term. We would share more details in due course as we firm up the specific idea.”
Before co-founding Paisabazaar, Kukreja had carved a successful career with renowned names like PolicyBazaar, Aviva, and Capital One Bank, building a wealth of experience in financial services and digital innovation.
As Naveen Kukreja steps into this fresh endeavor, the fintech world watches with eager anticipation, knowing that a new chapter of innovation and impact is about to unfold.
