Anant Pawar has been named the Aviation & Space Leader for India by Willis, a division of the international insurance broker WTW, with immediate effect.
Pawar will be in charge of offering specialized services and strategic insurance broking solutions to aviation clients nationwide in this new position.
Pawar has a solid background in aviation, space, reinsurance, and liability, and he brings a wealth of industry knowledge and leadership experience.
Throughout his career, he has spearheaded a number of significant projects, such as securing a Lloyd’s license for operations in India and strengthening MGA’s capabilities to facilitate the creation of an Aviation Consortium specifically designed for the Indian market.
Pawar held several senior positions at Global Insurance Brokers Private Limited (GIB) before joining Willis, where he was crucial to the growth and long-term success of the business.
