Recruitment technology company Expertia AI has raised Rs 20 crore in a pre-Series A funding round, led by Rockstud Capital, with contributions from Flipkart, Endiya Partners, and Chiratae Ventures.
This funding is a significant milestone for Expertia as it aims to enhance its AI-powered hiring platform, grow its technology team, and speed up product development.
Established in 2021 by Kanishk Shukla and Akshay Gugnani, Expertia AI utilizes deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) to streamline various stages of the hiring process, including talent discovery, screening, assessment, and interviews.
The platform connects with over 35 job portals and boasts a distribution network that reaches more than 220 million professionals.
Expertia AI’s innovative, patent-pending technology emphasizes a skill-first approach, enabling companies to make quicker and more accurate hiring decisions. It combines applicant tracking, AI-driven sourcing, bot-assisted interviews, and real-time hiring analytics, cutting the time-to-hire by 80% compared to traditional recruitment methods.
Since its launch, Expertia has processed over 25 million applications, supported the hiring of more than 230,000 job openings, and attracted a user base of over 18,000 companies. The startup primarily targets mid-to-large enterprises with over 500 employees and has already secured major clients like Reliance Retail and Jio.
