LTM strengthens its GCC strategy with new AI-focused business unit under Shailendra Singh

LTM has introduced GCC Origin, a dedicated business unit designed to help global enterprises establish, operate, expand and transform their Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India. The initiative aims to address the changing requirements of enterprises in the AI era by bringing together technology, talent, infrastructure, operations and artificial intelligence under a unified model.

Operating as an independent business unit within LTM, GCC Origin will have dedicated leadership, sales and delivery teams, specialised expertise and focused investments. The company has appointed Shailendra Singh to lead the new business, reporting to Venu Lambu, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of LTM.

The launch marks an expansion of LTM’s GCC strategy as enterprises increasingly seek faster execution, greater operational integration and AI-led capabilities. GCC Origin will combine strategy, AI, technology, workforce development, infrastructure, operations and ecosystem partnerships to support businesses across the GCC lifecycle.

The unit will offer support across site selection, workplace planning, infrastructure development, operational readiness and turnkey facilities in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. Its services will be powered by BlueVerse, LTM’s agentic AI ecosystem, which includes more than 300 AI agents. The objective is to help enterprises establish new GCCs and transform existing centres into AI-native operations.

“The role of the GCC has changed. Enterprises no longer set them up to cut costs, they want them to create value from day one and to own capabilities that shape the business. Increasingly, that means AI. GCC Origin is built for that shift, helping enterprises create GCCs that are agentic by design. Its modular model lets clients build, operate and transform GCCs around their priorities, accelerating the path from setup to business value,” said Venu Lambu, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, LTM.

GCC Origin will provide a flexible service portfolio that allows enterprises to select individual capabilities or access end-to-end GCC solutions based on their requirements and operational maturity. Its engagement models include Assisted GCC, Build-Operate-Transform-Transfer, Virtual GCC, Joint Ventures, Staff Augmentation and Hire-Operate-Transfer.

The business unit’s offerings will cover 5 key areas:

  • Design and advisory: Support for GCC strategy, location selection, engagement models, operating blueprints, governance structures and commercial frameworks.
  • Talent, learning and workforce development: AI-driven platforms such as Talent Pool Radar, TalentInsights and LTM Shoshin will support recruitment, talent management and continuous workforce development.
  • AI agents, automation and innovation: BlueVerse will provide access to more than 300 pre-built, domain-specific AI agents, along with customised solutions. AI Centres of Excellence, innovation-as-a-service and the Automate suite, powered by Agent Next, will help integrate AI into business operations. Enterprises will also have access to LTM’s dedicated AI studios across the US, Europe and India.
  • Operate and transform: Management of IT and business operations, transitions, governance, knowledge management, finance, taxation, payroll and workplace services.
  • Transfer: Structured transfer of talent, technology, knowledge, infrastructure, capabilities and operational ownership based on each enterprise’s preferred GCC model.

Shailendra Singh brings more than 26 years of global leadership experience across business transformation, strategic growth, technology services and enterprise partnerships.

Before joining LTM, he served as Chief Strategic Growth Officer at SLK, where he contributed to enterprise growth and a major private equity-backed transaction.

Earlier, Singh held senior leadership positions at IBM, including Vice President – Strategic & Ecosystem Partners and Ventures and Financial Services Sector Leader. He also spent several years at Wipro, leading multimillion-dollar businesses across Europe and Africa.

An alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Singh has also completed an executive programme at Harvard Business School.
