Rural healthcare startup CureBay has raised around Rs 100 crore in a Pre-Series C funding round led by IvyCap Ventures. The funding will support the company’s expansion across India, strengthen its technology infrastructure and improve the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare delivery.

The funding round includes Rs 69 crore in equity from IvyCap Ventures and existing investors, along with more than Rs 30 crore in debt from Trifecta Capital, Alteria Capital and VentureSoul Partners.

CureBay plans to use the funds to expand its operations into new markets, including Andhra Pradesh. It will also invest in technology and AI capabilities to improve health screening, generate better patient insights and support clinical decision-making.

Founded in 2021 by Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Shobhan Mahapatra and Sanjay Swain, CureBay operates a network of technology-enabled clinics serving underserved communities. Its services include doctor consultations, medicines, diagnostic tests, surgery facilitation and annual health memberships.

The company currently operates more than 250 clinics across 7 states. Its network includes over 1,800 Swasthya Mitras, 530 trained clinical staff, 230 doctor partners and more than 210 partner hospitals and laboratories. CureBay has served over 17 lakh patients and conducts more than 400 health camps every month.

Its rural healthcare model combines 6 components: physical clinics, a community health worker network, a digital platform, AI-powered screening, a 24/7 command centre and CureBay Kavach.

CureBay also collaborates with the government on healthcare delivery programmes. It has been named the healthcare partner for Samriddhi Kendra, an initiative of the Government of India.

The company last raised $21 million in a Series B funding round in May 2025. The round was led by Bertelsmann India Investments, with participation from existing investor Elevar Equity and British International Investment.
