Eaton has promoted Adam Wadecki to Senior Vice President and CFO – Electrical, placing him in charge of finance leadership for its Electrical businesses, which generate approximately $25 billion in revenue. His responsibilities will cover the Electrical Americas and Electrical Global reportable segments.
Before his elevation, Wadecki served as Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Eaton. In that role, he led global accounting and record-to-report operations while managing a team of around 1,300 professionals. His responsibilities also included order-to-cash, procure-to-pay and corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President of Internal Audit at the company.
Prior to joining Eaton, Wadecki held senior finance positions at GE HealthCare and GE. His roles included CFO – Corporate Finance and Finance Transformation, as well as CFO – Global Medical Imaging. He led finance teams across corporate FP&A, supply chain, services, finance transformation and global medical imaging operations.
Wadecki also served as Vice President – North America Sales, Service and Supply Chain Finance at Grainger. At Advance Auto Parts, he held senior leadership roles covering revenue, merchandising finance, enterprise pricing and business integration.
Earlier in his career, he held several finance leadership positions at General Motors, gaining experience across finance operations, supply chain, FP&A, pricing and strategic projects.
In his new role, Wadecki brings extensive expertise in corporate finance, financial controls, business transformation and large-scale operational finance. His experience across multiple industries is expected to support the continued growth and financial management of Eaton’s Electrical businesses.
