Samsung is preparing to expand its Galaxy F70 smartphone lineup in India, with the new Galaxy F70 5G scheduled to arrive next week. The company has confirmed the launch date and revealed the phone’s design, key specifications, features and colour options through a dedicated microsite.
The Samsung Galaxy F70 5G will launch in India on October 18 and will be available for purchase through Flipkart. Buyers will be able to choose between 2 colour options: Bold Black and Vivid Violet. The smartphone will join the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G and Galaxy F70e 5G in the lineup.
The phone will feature a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS). It will also include a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device will have a 13-megapixel front camera.
The Galaxy F70 5G will measure 7.5mm in thickness and feature a flat sAMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution. The screen will have Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Samsung’s Exynos 1330 chipset will power the smartphone.
The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired fast charging. It will also include AI-powered features such as Circle to Search, along with Samsung Knox Security. The phone will run an unspecified version of the company’s One UI software.
In terms of design, the smartphone will have a flat rear panel and a vertical, pill-shaped camera module in the top-left corner. The front camera will sit inside a waterdrop-style notch. The power button will be placed on the right side, while the left side will have a clean design. A USB Type-C port will be located at the bottom.
